THE SMOOTH SKINS, a french tribute to The Police Band

THE SMOOTH SKINS are French tribute to the legendary british band called The Police, which Sting was the singer and bassist. 

Each of the Smooth Skins musician has been deeply influenced by the sound, the energy and inventivity of The Police, and the guitarist Eric Villuendas decided in 2007 to create a band that would keep alive the fantastic spirit of his masters' show.

The drummer Mathieu Lescuyer and  Jihem answered to Eric's call at first ring !

THE SMOOTH SKINS' performance is mostly influenced by live concerts, rather than clean and highly produced studio recordings of The Police. 

They offer a 2 hours show based on energy and creativity, nevertheless totally respecting the art of Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers.

The show can be performed on large stages as well as in small clubs, the energy will stay the same !
